Yooil Yoohwa Steel Pipe Co., Ltd (Chairman – Jae-So Yoo), located in Yeoju, Gyeonggi-do, has completed the extension of new pipe manufacturing machine and has driven a full-fledged growth drive.

According to the company, the new pipe manufacturing machine has the line speed of 150m per minute with the specifications of outer diameter of 3 inches, thickness of 5mm, maximum production length of 13m and the maximum annual production capacity of 40,000 M/T.  Adopting Cold SAW Cutting method, they manufacture quality products with the excellent productivity and cutting ability as well.

The executives and staffs of the company including CEO Dong-Hyeon Yoo and Director Seong-Hyeon Yoo have participated in the installation and test production at the facility extension works of Yooil Yoohwa Steel Pipe Co., Ltd. Yeoju factory.

  Director Seong-Hyeon Yoo of Yooil-Yoohwa Steel Pipe Co., Ltd said “Starting dismantling

the existing pipe manufacturing facilities of Yeoju factory on last Jan. 8, exactly 50 days have been required till the completion of facility extension in February”, and he added that ‘We got this result

thanks to the help of all the staffs of Yeoju factory.”

The new pipe manufacturing machine of Yooil-Yoohwa Steel Pipe Co., Ltd is currently under normal operation after the trial operation in last February.  The relevant pipe manufacturing  machine has been completed as the facility specialized in production speed through several meetings by NOORI T&C and Yooil-Yoohwa Steel Pipe.

Among pipe manufacturing companies in Korea, only a few companies have pipe manufacturing machine that can produce pipes up to 150m per minute.  In particular, significant invest was required for structural pipe industryto build such facilities.

  Yooil-Yoohwa Steel Pipe Co., Ltd has a plan to increase customers’ satisfaction by securing quality

as well as cost reduction through the new facilities. In addition, the company has a plan to manufacture

the products for pipes in the future to diversify the portfolio of products.

 Yeoju factory of Yooil-Yoohwa Steel Pipe is specialized in producing special steel pipes

including steel pipes for automotive. 

The company has adopted the continuous facility rationalization and partial automation systems,

in order to handle the products for automotive in which quality is particular and difficult.

It is possible to manufacture up to 60,000 M/T per year at total two production lines including this new pipe manufacturing machine. Jincheon factory is specialized in producing pipes for farm, colored square pipe and steel pipe for structure. 

​The company has a plan to increase sales through the complementary effect of Yeoju factory and Jincheon factory.

Yooil-Yoohwa Steel Pipe Co., Ltd started the business of steel pipe in 1980 with the company name   of Yooil Steel Pipe, and established a separate incorporation of Yoohwa Steel Pipe in Jincheon, Chungbuk in 1992.  In 1996, it was appointed as a registered company of National Agricultural Cooperative Federation and supplied steel pipes for agriculture to customers.  The company extended Yeoju factory of Yooil Steel Pipe and completed the installation of production facilities in 2000.

 In 2002, it established a network of affiliates and operated color square pipe painting facility.  In 2007, the company launched AZ pipes and was appointed as an excellent supplier by National Agricultural Cooperative Federation.  Main products are structural steel pipes, steel pipes for agriculture, steel pipes for farm, C-channel and pipe scaffoldings.
