Noori T&C received order of plant in Ulsan factory from Hyundai-Steel | ||||

Its line speed is 100m/min, and it will produce automotive steel pipes such as cold rolled(CR), Pickled & Oiled(PO) and Hot Galvanized Iron(HGI). Especially this plant can produces lighter products by increasing tensile strength of steel pipe products yet reducing thickness. Hyundai-Steel plans to improve manufacturing technology of precision steel pipe more as well as replacing existing old facility. Now civil construction is being processed by Hyun-dai Steel to install pipe plant for new automobile.
The steel pipe plant of Hyundai in Ulsan are 2 slitters, 8 sets of electric resistance welded (ERW) steel pipe producer(large diameter 1set, medium diameter 1set, small diameter 6sets) and post treatment equipment 9 sets (plating furnace 2 sets, threader 4 sets, heat treatment device 3 sets), which annual production capacity reaches 1,030,000 tons (by 3 shifts).
